This month, our preschool children have also taken a fascinating journey into Ancient Roman culture.

A highlight this month was our exploration into fashion and sustainability, inspired by the iconic Vivienne Westwood.

The past month at Fennies Kidbrooke, Whittle Road has been one of discovery, celebration, and unforgettable learning moments. The children have had the opportunity to connect with nature in new and exciting ways, as well as explore cultural traditions that broaden their understanding of the world around them.
Safer neighbourhood newsletter - october 2025
Your safer Neighbourhood Team targeted patrols around Sutcliffe Park, Pegler Square, Weigall Road and surrounding areas for antisocial behaviour which include drug dealing and drug consumption, shoplifting and VAWG.
This is still an ongoing issue that we take very seriously, and we will continue to target over the coming weeks by undertaking proactive high-visibility aand plain clothes patrols.
Kidbrooke Games Club
Situated at the heart of the Village in our community centre, Kidbrooke Games Club is one of the most popular activities for families on-site, meeting once a week for parents and their children aged 4-12.
The club was started by local resident Vidushi, who moved here following a long search for the combination of a newbuild, green open spaces and somewhere for families. Kidbrooke Village ticked every box!
Fennies Nurseries
Meet Fennies Kidbrooke, located right in the heart of Kidbrooke Village on Whittle Road and only a 3-minute walk away from Kidbrooke Station. Our state-of-the-art nursery has been thoughtfully curated with Early Years in mind, helping them as they grow from little explorers to inventors. Our Kidbrooke Nursery has rooms that have free-flow access to the garden, fostering an environment where children can seamlessly transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Royal Resistance
Sport has the power to bring people and communities together which is where local gym Royal Resistance comes in.
Located a few minutes walk from the heart of Kidbrooke Village, Royal Resistance is a boxing club and gym for both children and adults, also providing classes on Brazilian Jujitsu, Muay Thai, as well as strength and endurance training. Originally at Woolwich, gym owner Steven Nodwell saw the opportunity of the new development at Kidbrooke to reach an emerging community and make an impact.
Dragons choose their winner
Kidbrooke Village hosted its first Dragons Den event on Wednesday 17th January, which saw MGM Gyms take home the £3,000 prize fund (sponsored by Berkeley
and Moat Foundation). Held at the Kidbrooke Community Hub, the event forms part of Berkeley’s continuing social value commitment to nurturing small businesses. Consequently, this provided local entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop their pitching skills, with the winner receiving £3,000 worth of
mentoring, branding and marketing training to enable them to take their business to the next level
